I’m a stitch addict. Finding and trying new crochet stitches are my jam, my thing, what I love most about crocheting. I have a gazillion stitch samples laying around and am loving the beautiful crochet clutter! I love crochet stitches so much I’ve decided to start a weekly series here called My Favorite Stitches. And this week starts off with a beautiful bang! The Wattle Stitch. It’s my favorite stitch to date. I love how easy the stitch is, once you get the hang of it, and how simple yet stunning it is.
I found this lovely stitch on YouTube, being taught by the very talented Mama in a Stitch. I’m going to link to her tutorial and blog post at the end of this post. But first, more pictures! Who doesn’t love more pictures of pretty stitch patterns? Oh the texture and pattern of this one is so beautiful. It would be perfect with a blanket, I think.
It’s such a lovely stitch, isn’t it? I bet you’re dying to try it! Without further adieu, the video that taught me how to do the wattle stitch.
